Help Us Recover Lost Funding for Humane Farming!
Support FACT’s work with independent farmers and help us raise $40,000 to continue the Women, Livestock and the Land Program that was cut by federal budget cuts.

Since 2012, FACT’s Humane Farming Program has improved the lives of over 47 million farm animals by supporting independent farmers through grants, mentorship, and education. But this spring, widespread federal budget cuts are threatening the very programs these farmers rely on, impacting everything from conservation support to local food initiatives.
One such loss is a vital project FACT has been working on with NCAT (National Center for Appropriate Technology) for female farmers in the Gulf Coast, canceled without warning and leaving behind unfinished programming and unmet needs. This program, called Women, Livestock and the Land, empowered historically underserved women to succeed in humane farming. No one will benefit from this broken contract, not the women who are committed to feeding their community, not the staff who are passionate about humane farming, and not the general public who rely on local pasture-based farmers to provide them with excellent quality food that nourishes.
Today, we’re asking for your help to recover the $40,000 lost when our contract to fund the Women, Livestock and Land Program was abruptly cancelled.
