Livestock farming is a tough but rewarding career—and even tougher for women in this male-dominated field. At FACT, we’re proud to support all livestock farmers, but with a department led by female farmers, we understand the unique challenges women face.
That’s why we’re committed to empowering female farmers who put animal welfare first. Through our Fund-a-Farmer grants, we provide crucial funding to help them succeed. In 2024, we awarded $251,000 to 87 farmers —68% of which were female-owned farms!
